Hajjâj Highlander

Note: It’s really “El-Hajjâj Highlander” but the “El” part is silent.

Hajjâj Highlander is the Old School Singleton format of the Stockholm in a Bottle crowd, thus the name. (For those who don’t know, City in a Bottle is found in El-Hajjâj’s workshop.)

The format based on the Beasts of the Bay Singleton format.

This year, we allow Scryings. Thus, the following card sets are legal in Hajjâj Highlander:
Standard Old School, not including Fallen Empires, and additionally, Scryings is allowed. Furthermore, all non-foil magic cards (i.e. not CE and ICE) with the same art (yes, Plateau, Serendib, we know) and old border are allowed.

Each deck must contain at least 60 cards and be highlander: there can only be one of each card, with the exception of basic lands.

Matches are played best of 3 games, 60 minute matches (but this is subject to change depending on tournament logistics), but no sideboards are used. Ring of Ma’rûf is legal and can get any card from any allowed set, even banned ones (except the ante cards) or cards in your deck.
